Summer Session

Summer session will begin begin on Monday June 27th @ Edgemont High School. The new practice schedule will be from 6:30-8:00pm Monday and Wednesday. Please have your USA wrestling cards handy and arrive 15 minutes early to every practice!

Athletes, good luck on your finals and we will see you on the mat!

Practice change!!!!

Due to circumstances beyond our control, practice will start on Monday, March 14th. We will NOT have practice starting March 7th. We apologize for any inconvenience. In the mean time, utilize this time to rest or get ready for strength training with Coach Manny.

Make sure USA cards and registration forms are filled out and ready by the first practice.

Its official!!!

Invictus Wrestling will OFFICIALLY begin March 7th at our usual location, Louis M. Klein Middle School in Harrison. Practice will be from 5:30-7:30pm Monday and Wednesday. Everyone needs to bring a NEW USA wrestling card and tuition to the first practice. Directions on how to obtain a USA card are under the "links and forms" page. We are uber excited to start training future champions this spring! The road to states starts now!

FInally... an update

Its about that time ladies and gentlemen...the season is officially over for everyone. Section 1 had an outstanding performance at the NYS tournament this past weekend in Albany. Section 1 finished 2nd in D1 with 7 state finalist and 4 champs!

IWC had a good showing at sections with a total of 15 place winners. Congrats to all IWC wrestlers for an awesome season. Big congrats to Jacob Berkowitz for being IWC's first section champ! Jacob was the 4th seed at the state tournament, but fell short with some tough battles. Next year, he'll be on the hunt for that state title!

With that being said, it is time for us to get back work. I am waiting to hear on a confirmation, but as of right now we are looking at a start up of next Monday March 7th @ Louis M. Klein Middle School in Harrison. Practice will be from 5:30-7:30 Monday and Wednesday. THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL YET! I will provide updates as I receive them. New location!

It has been awhile since we have updated Invictus athletes with some good news. We finally have a new spot! Practice will be starting on Monday Dec. 6th from 7-8:30pm @ North Rockland High School. The wrestling room is located in the boys locker room. During this session we will focus mainly on learning, sharpening, perfecting, new techniques, as we are aware that many of the techniques we teach are NOT taught in a typical practice room. This is a great opportunity to not only learn, but to drill with different and tougher guys. We understand that many wrestlers have the Section 1 duals on Monday, so if you cannot make it this Monday then we expect to see you the following Monday. We also know it may be a hassle for some of the Westchester wrestlers to get across the bridge, but car pooling is definitely doable. Many of you are from the same school or neighboring school, so we strongly encourage you to work out a car pool situation. We are only running one day per week and chose to go just on Mondays. Monday seems to not interfere with competitions and impacts school work the least. The cost of this session is only $50 per month! This is an absolute steal, so we expect a tremendous turnout. Before I forget, please bring your USA cards! Or purchase a new USA card if you did not renew yours this past August. Spread the word!
