Its about that time ladies and gentlemen...the season is officially over for everyone. Section 1 had an outstanding performance at the NYS tournament this past weekend in Albany. Section 1 finished 2nd in D1 with 7 state finalist and 4 champs!
IWC had a good showing at sections with a total of 15 place winners. Congrats to all IWC wrestlers for an awesome season. Big congrats to Jacob Berkowitz for being IWC's first section champ! Jacob was the 4th seed at the state tournament, but fell short with some tough battles. Next year, he'll be on the hunt for that state title!
With that being said, it is time for us to get back work. I am waiting to hear on a confirmation, but as of right now we are looking at a start up of next Monday March 7th @ Louis M. Klein Middle School in Harrison. Practice will be from 5:30-7:30 Monday and Wednesday. THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL YET! I will provide updates as I receive them. Until I get confirmation, we will have to sit tight. The price of the spring session will be $125 per month or 3 months @ $325!! If you have any questions the best way to contact me is through email.
